Alongside being a documentary wedding photographer I’m also a television cameraman, and I was fortunate enough to be asked recently to be involved with filming the Paralympics for Channel 4.

Along with the job came a pass which enabled me to get into all the venues, and so in my spare time I took along my trustee Fuji X100 to capture some of these places.  This camera was perfect for the job, not only was it a practical size to carry around the park, but also offered the excellent panoramic feature which came into its own when shooting the large interiors of some of the venues.  Also the low light shooting ability of the X100 came in useful for some of the evening shots (such as the fireworks below), the onboard flash was never needed.
